Hey I'm Erica and I'm a Sophmore. I love my friends to death and riding is a big part of my life. I've been riding since i was 3 and competing since i was 9. I started out like everyone else in the hunters until' i reached the 3'6" division, and that is when i seriously moved on to the Jumper and Equitation rings. I'm currently doing the Low Jr. Jumpers and all the medals including the USET Talent Search. My current team of show horses are: Soy Caligula Z a 16.1 hh, 9 yo, Zangershied G; Ve y Ve Juargista a 17.1 hh, 8 yo, SF G; and Argensohn a 16.3 hh 14 yo, Oldenburg Stallion. They are a great bunch of hard-working, determined mounts who would make any rider proud.
I also used to play Volleyball for my school (varsity) and Travel Team (varsity as well for Gold Coast), i played main or outside hitter, where we actually got silver at the Jr Olympics for 2006. i made many great friends and some awesome memories and miss it very much. I do try to play with some of my old team mate for fun but sadly i'll never be able to seriously play again. If you wanna know more about me just drop me a message :] |

| Why I Play: | This is a question I get asked alot and i dont actually have any one answer for it. One reason is because it is a sport that not many people can do, and just the fact that i can do it, and do it well even, makes it that more meaningful to me. Another reason I have, cant really be described because it really needs to be felt first hand; its the feeling when you and your horse are soaring above a large or difficult effort. It is one of the most amazing and indescribable feelings in the world. There is a point when you're in the air and everything kinda slows down and you realize that you and this 1,200 lb animal are flying 6 feet in the air and by some miricle you land and continue on to the next fence.... i guess thats the best way i could answer this question.... |
